About this project
One Science is a multi-vendor B2B e-commerce marketplace built by Advisory Apps for the laboratory equipment and consumables industry — biosafety cabinets, incubator shakers, pipette tips, and lab consumables sold from a Singapore base to buyers across Southeast Asia. Built on Vue.js, Node.js, Redis, and MySQL, the platform replaces traditional payment checkout with quotation generation, auto-converts supplier list prices into customer-facing prices through a configurable formula (live currency conversion, exchange-rate buffer, shipping fee, profit margin), and lets approved vendors self-register, mass-upload products, and manage orders from their own consoles. Buyers see prices only after admin approval, compare products side-by-side, and receive multi-language quotations across English, Bahasa, Thai, Vietnamese, and Burmese — with Mailchimp marketing automation and Mailgun transactional email integrated end-to-end.
