How big is the Advisory Apps team?

Advisory Apps has a team of approximately 25 professionals based at our Kuala Lumpur office. Everyone is a full-time, in-house team member — we do not use freelancers or outsource to third-party vendors.

Team Composition

• Full-stack engineers (~15): Specialising in Flutter, React Native, React, Next.js, Node.js, Laravel, and Python. Most have 5+ years of production experience.
• UI/UX designers (~3): Figma-native designers handling wireframes, prototyping, user research, and design systems.
• QA engineers (~3): Manual and automated testing across mobile, web, and API layers.
• Project managers (~2): Agile-certified PMs running sprint ceremonies, managing timelines, and serving as your primary point of contact.
• Engineering leadership: CTO Eddy Goh provides technical direction across all projects, with 10+ years of engineering leadership experience.

At ~25 people, we are large enough to run multiple projects simultaneously — we have delivered 200+ projects to date — yet small enough that senior leadership stays involved in every engagement. Your project will not get lost in a 500-person agency where junior developers handle everything.

How We Staff Projects

Each project gets a dedicated squad typically comprising 2–5 people depending on scope: a project manager, 1–3 developers, and a designer or QA engineer. For enterprise projects like the Perodua SA app (3,000+ advisors), we scale the squad up while maintaining a single project lead for accountability.
